To provide a nurturing, relaxed, and safe environment with caring adults where self concepts are enhanced; independence is encouraged; free choice decisions are offered; social skills are acquired; individuality is respected and spiritual growth is developed.
To provide large portions of time in which the child can spend with his/her friends in a range of different activities. The activities will be drawn from the following curriculum areas: Bible, art, science, music, math, movement, language arts, large muscle, and fine motor skills.
To provide the child with opportunities to gain competence in a variety of skills and techniques that increases his/her interest and control over his/her environment.
To provide for each child’s physical well being while in our care.
To provide opportunities to develop large motor skills and coordination through physically active play.
To develop in the child an active curiosity about the world in which he/she lives and enthusiasm for learning which stimulates exploratory behavior and creativity.
To help the child gain self-discipline in an environment where he/she knows the limits and expectations.
To provide an atmosphere in the classroom which promotes respect for others and daycare resources.
